GFWC-NYSFWC is club women of all ages and interests. We are your friends, neighbors, co-workers and acquaintances. We are professional women, homemakers, teachers, elected officials, business owners, students, retirees, wives, mothers and single women. We all have one objective - to better ourselves, our communities and our country through volunteer service.
The purpose of this "State Federation shall be to bring into a relation of mutual helpfulness the various clubs of Women throughout the State and to make combined action possible when deemed advisable."
GFWC-NYSFWC is comprised of General, Junior and Juniorette Clubs.
There are activities for volunteer women of all ages.General and Junior Clubs have no age specification.Some General Clubs meet in the daytime, some in the evening.Junior Club members are usually younger women and hold evening meetings.Juniorettes are teenagers, ages 11-18.

Clubs pay annual per capita dues and function within the framework of the State Federation.
The State is divided into seven Districts.
Clubs may participate in fall District meetings, the Mid-Atlantic Conference, spring County meetings, the State Convention and the GFWC International Convention.
